Quince, thought to be the forbidden fruit from the Garden of Eden, will surely tempt you with its exotic aroma and sweet tart flavor. And like Dorothy, we didn't have to look beyond our backyard to find this 'new' taste sensation-colonists brought Quince from England in 1629 and it still grows in old orchards all around us. Our Quince Butter will amaze your tastes buds, proving that everything old is new again. Spread some on toast, close your eyes, click your heels together, and relive the flavor that people have enjoyed since ancient times.
At Sidehill Farm we take pride in preserving the taste of homemade jam using the same methods our great grandmothers used to assure there is more fruit, and therefore more flavor in every bite. We combine the finest fruits with pure cane sugar, and boil them down the old-fashioned way, without added pectin, preservatives or artificial ingredients. The rest of the world is coming back around to the idea of “slow foods”, but at Sidehill Farm there has never been any other way to do it.
Sidehill Farm’s gourmet jams, preserves and pure Vermont maple toppings make a fabulous gift made in Vermont.
INGREDIENTS: Nothing but Quince and Pure Cane Sugar.
No Pectin, No Preservatives, Non-GMO, Non-Fat, and Gluten Free.

Was excited to see the Quince Butter. Loved it on toast. Shared it with my sister. Will say I like my quince just cooked down to preserve/jam consistency. But overall Quince Butter is a treat. Will recommend to my friends who like quince. Purchased a quince tree for my sister so she can grow and make her own.

I purchased the quince butter as a surprise for my sister. She remembered quince trees and quince butter from being at our grandma's house. She was thrilled to receive the quince butter, and it was just like she remembered it. Thanks!

I love the taste of quince but it isn't common in the US. I was glad to find this here and not have to wait for a trip to Europe.

This is a rarity in the first place as I am not aware of any supermarket carried brand that makes a jam from quince.
This one fills that gap and does that with delicious flavors. This jam is all fruit, perfect amount of added sugar (that is only a little), preserved the nice tart flavor of quince, well done Sidehill, keep it up!!
