This unconventional jam is made with tart Rhubarb sweetened with sugar and deliciously spiced with fresh ginger.
At Sidehill Farm we take pride in preserving the taste of homemade jam using the same methods our great grandmothers used to assure there is more fruit, and therefore more flavor in every bite. We combine the finest fruits with pure cane sugar, and boil them down the old-fashioned way, without added pectin, preservatives or artificial ingredients. The rest of the world is coming back around to the idea of “slow foods”, but at Sidehill Farm there has never been any other way to do it.
Sidehill Farm’s gourmet jams, preserves and pure Vermont maple toppings make a fabulous gift made in Vermont.
INGREDIENTS: Nothing but Rhubarb, Pure Cane Sugar, Candied Ginger (Ginger and Sugar), and Lemon Juice.
No Pectin, No Preservatives, Non-GMO, Non-Fat, and Gluten Free.

At Christmas a year ago, a friend gave me a couple jars of Side Hill Farm Jams. I love rhubarb jam but it is hard to keep without it turning to sugar. This ginger rhubarb jam from Side Hill Farm stayed fresh and tasted delicious. I then sent for more jams and I tried Apricot Jam which was equally as good.
Through the years, I have purchased jams from many different places but to me, Side Hill Farm Jams are the best. Hopefully, I will be able to buy these Jazzy Jams for many more years.
Thank you for having such a quality product for me to enjoy!

I love a number of the Sidehill jams, but Gingered Rhubarb is my current favorite. Great with almond butter in a sandwich, my default lunch.

My newest obsession is to make an omelet with this jam.
After the omelet is set and before folding it, I add a couple teaspoons of cream cheese in the middle, then I fold the omelet, plate it and top it off with a large spoonful of the Gingered Rhubarb jam. It sounds weird but try it!

This has become one of the family's favorite jams! (wish I had ordered more!) It's not often that you get such a good flavorful amount of ginger in a jam, and the pairing with the rhubarb is really an interesting find. When you taste the jam properly, you get a balance from the calmer rhubarb after the initial bite of the ginger. To put it short, TRY IT!
