At Sidehill Farm we take pride in preserving the taste of homemade jam using the same methods our great grandmothers used to assure there is more fruit and more flavor in every bite. We combine the finest fruits with pure cane sugar, and boil them down the old-fashioned way, without added pectin, preservatives or artificial ingredients. The rest of the world is coming back around to the idea of “slow foods”, but at Sidehill Farm there has never been any other way to do it.

    For over thirty years, every holiday season, we order and assortment and spread the joy. My wife and I spotted the store on our honeymoon, way back when it used to be on Side Hill Rd. up in the Pittsfield area. I think that's where it was. The cinnamon/pear is my favorite. I make a loaf of honey wheat bread, toast a nice thick piece and cover it with the jam. Give it a try. Warning: Very addictive

    I first found this the Shelburne VT General Store and have been a fan for years. I wish it can in larger jars, but that is a personal issue. The flavor is superb and makes toasted bagels into the best breakfast item other than bacon.

    Absolutely love this combination of jam. Not sure how I started doing this but at least 10 years ago, I tried it on the side with pork chops/ribs and it is absolutely amazing as a condiment for pork too!

    I received a sample-sized jar in a gift basket. When I tried it, I knew it was the best tasting jam I have ever had! It is full of cinnamon and pear flavor! No jam will ever take its place!
