Plum Paste
Our Plum Paste gets it intense plum color and flavor from ripe Damson Plums. We cook them down till they are thick enough to turn out of the jar for slicing on your cheese board. The color will complement any cheese board, and the flavor pairs well with blue, cheddar, and fresh goat and sheep cheeses.
INGREDIENTS: Nothing but Damson Plums and Pure Cane Sugar.
No Pectin, No Preservatives, Non-GMO, Non-Fat, Gluten Free.

So good with cheese! Everything we have bought from Sidehill is very good. We miss Vermont very much, due to Covid, so at least we can get a taste when ordering from Sidehill.

While traveling & camping in VT this summer, I tasted a sample of Sidehill Farm’s Plum Paste at Shelburne Farm’s gift shop along with their local farm-made cheese and fell in love with the pairing! The plum paste’s tartness and sweetness compliments cheddar cheese beautifully. After buying a jar, taking it home to Louisiana, and savoring it, I ordered 4 more to give as gifts to friends and family. I haven’t tried the quince paste, or the Feel-the-Bern jam yet, but I’m sure they’re winners, too. In the future I’ll be ordering more from Sidehill Farm in support of this fine Vermont small business!
